We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Seasonal Harvest Staff to assist with the harvest during our busy months of December and January.
Job Description: As a Seasonal Harvest Staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a successful harvest season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Harvesting: Participate in the harvesting of crops according to established guidelines, ensuring the quality and integrity of the produce.
- Sorting and Packing: Sort and pack harvested crops into designated containers or packaging materials, adhering to specific quality standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks to identify and separate damaged or subpar produce.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with fellow team members and supervisors to achieve daily harvest goals.
- Safety: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintaining Equipment: Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of harvesting equipment as needed.
- Adaptability: Be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adapt to changing tasks as required.
- Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills required:
- No prior experience required; we will provide training.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to work in outdoor and variable weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Punctuality and commitment to meeting daily targets.
